Continuink wanted a recognized mark of assurance for customers investing in their innovative ink cartridge technology, so selected Carbon Footprint to provide the solution.
Why were Carbon Footprint able to endorse Continuink?
- Continuink provide refillable ink cartridges for use in all well know makes of printer. By refilling the cartridge there is never a need to throw the casing away. The customer can either buy refill bottles of ink and refill the cartridges themselves with a syringe, or exchange the cartridge for a full one through the post. This 'greener' approach reduces cost to the consumer by 75%.
- Continuink ensure that their product to packaging ratio is as low as possible, with their cartridges able to hold significantly more ink compared to the standard supplied by larger well known printer companies.
- Continuink also import their ink in barrels rather than individual cartridges each in its own packaging, minimising the weight and bulk of the product and reducing the carbon footprint associated with shipping. The ink kits are then sent to the customer in recyclable bottles.
