The Need - IKEA, the global leader for furniture and household products wanted to run a global ‘Good Housekeeping competition’ focused on employees carbon emissions.

Carbon Footprint provided - A fully hosted, co-branded multi-language carbon footprint calculator. Its database functionality enabled employees to manage their emissions and for IKEA to report a league table of results, along with pledges to reduce emissions per store.

Outcome - Following the successful competition, IKEA are aiming to run the competition annually as a great demonstration of their environmental values and commitments.

Carbon Footprint provided – An integrated & easy to use calculator tool with data management facility enabling staff to actively manage their carbon emissions.

Outcome – The calculator tool was successfully launched on Deutsche Bank’s Earth Day & they are now looking to roll-out the carbon management tools more widely.
