FAQs:
What happens at the Tree Planting Event?
- Events typically last up to 3 hours - though this will depend on how many trees you have to plant.
- At schools events, we split the event up into age groups. Each group receives an age appropriate introduction to the importance of tree planting to the environment and biodiversity before a demonstration on how to plant. Then the planting begins.
- Throughout the event, there is a mixture of reportage style as well as more formal photography.
- Wherever possible we will try to arrange photographs of your team leader with the head of school/key members of the nature reserve.
What press will I get?
- We will provide you with pre and post event press releases for your use.
- Many of our client use these with local media (for community targets), but also use for trade press and also within corporate/stakeholder communications (including their annual reports).
- We can organise local media photo calls and content for press releases.
How many trees will I plant?
- We recommend at least 200 trees as a suitable gift to the school/nature reserve; this also provides a suitable number to keep all the team busy on the day planting.
- The tree species are selected by the school/ nature reserve to fit in with their local biodiversity.
What do we need to bring with us?
- We organise the whole event for you - so you just need to wear suitable clothing (be prepared for a little rain!) and your wellies/walking shoes.
